Can't paste from IL to AN (cc2019)

Illustrator cc 2019 won't copy/paste images into Animate cc 2019. Text is also copied all wrong. I tried normal paste, paste special, paste in center, paste place, drag-n-drop, literary anything, it just won't work. I also tried with multiple files, different sizes, extensions and nothing seems to work. Funny thing is, if I open older version of AN i can't copy and paste from newer version of IL. So yeah, adobe cc 2019 is basically not usable.

In video bellow, you can see that copy/paste on images is not working, text is in this case fine, and vector graphics works okay. The problem are in rastered images.

Is there any reasonable explanation, am I doing something wrong?

Thanks

Hi.

I'm sorry about this inconvenience.

I tried here and I was able to copy and paste bitmaps, texts, and shapes.

After this 2019 update, one or more users here reported that after uninstalling and installing Animate CC 2019 again the problems disappeared.

Is it possible for you to do this?

Please let us know.

Regards,

JC

As far as I'm concerned, removing preferences or re-installing Illustrator (23.0.1 - 64 bits) didn't fix the issue. I restarted Animate, Illustrator, and Windows, but still the same.

However, I can see that the trouble is only with linked image files, not with embedded images.

So now, I need to embed files before copy-pasting them (which wasn't necessary with previous versions of Illustrator).

Hope Adobe can provide a patch.
