Can't use brushes in brush libary

HI,

i'm trying to use a pen from the brush library but I can't figure out how to use it. All it say's when i try to click on it is " double click to add to document" but that doesn't work. Am i missing something?

You are not missing anything. After you double-click and try to paint something on the stage, what is happening? What are the results? Are you seeing anything? Or are you just seeing a normal default stroke?
