Can we create 2D characters and animate them such as video on this page: https://www.illumeo.com/expert-certifications using adobe animate only? or we have to use some other tools. A detailed answer would be much appreciated.

I see some people create these videos fairly quickly, so I am sure there should be proper tool for that.

Yes of course. I do it all the time. I create an ActionScript 3.0 document set to 1920x1080 and usually 24fps or 30 depending on what I'm animating. When I'm done animating I export it to video and have it open automatically in the Adobe Media Encoder where I encode it using H.264 compression. Some projects I'll bring multiple videos exported from Animate CC into Premiere pro to edit them together.

As for more details than that, hard to know exactly what you want. It's like asking if I have a hammer can I build a house and if so tell me step-by-step. It's difficult to go into that much detail without knowing your skill set, experience and what you want to build exactly.

But the answer is, yes. Yes you can just use Animate CC to design, draw and set up characters and other assets for motion and create almost whatever you can imagine.

Really spot on. My skill set is very good at photoshop but now also stepping into videos so need to know which tools are the best and easy to start with.

Animation is not painting.

I hope you can read some books about animation first.

You can use ANIMATECC to make.

No other tools are required.

The speed of production lies in your experience and your resources.

Typically, after making animations, we store common backgrounds, objects, and characters in the library.

This will be used directly the next time you proceed.

The more you store in the library, the faster you can make animations.

Hi,

Personally it depends, is it for personal use, or business.

For Personal use, yea man, you can make some awesome stuff, especially if you have a tablet and have some drawing skills!

For Business use, if your just making a video like the link you provided, there are far more cost effective solutions.

If you don't need any interactions or only basic interactions embeded in a video file, then After Effects is quick and easy, and you can embed basic click events into the video file itself.....there are tons of explainer video templates on various market places for 10 to 50 USD with tons of stuff, from pre-built pre-rigged customisable characters, to scenes to icons, its endless. https://videohive.net/item/explainer-video-toolkit-3/18812448

If you want a cheaper solution, look at using a WYSIWYG explainer video creator, just google "explainer video maker" adobe has their own video maker product called, Adobe Spark, never used it though. Some packages contain libraries of characters, scenes, etc etc that you can use.

Just depends on cost and use and client requirements...

Adding to this, does anyone know if there is a market place for Adobe Animate content similar to the above link ?

Hi. Not sure the detail you are looking for, but you can absolutely design videos like this using Animate - yes. Using Animate only.

Interesting, can you point to any good tutorial? Have you ever designed yourself using Animate?

If you google "flash tutorials" and/or "animate cc tutorials" there are countless resources because this program has been around for 20 years. Animate CC is a rebranding of Flash.

Yes, I've designed a few things using this application
