CANT EXPORT ANIMATION OR EVEN TEST IT IN ANIMATE 2022

Sorry if this is a repost but i have looked at posts with similar issuses and have tried approved solutions such as deleting unused things in my library, saving as xfl, clearing some computer memory e.t.c. but I'm not sure how to fix my animate project. When I test it, it crashes at around 40% on the swf loading part and crashes when i try to export the video. I will admit i have used some bad workflows in terms of excessive graphic symbols and having some artefacts off the stage but I have done too much work already to start all over. Can anyone spare anytime to look at my project and tell me how I can fix it to export the animation. I have put a link to my file down below.

    Hi Eddy,

The issue with your file is that you have vectorized stuff that should have stayed bitmaps.

You have billions of vector points and that will never be published successfully as SWF.

On my machine the FLA can't even load in Animate, but opens kind of OK after 3-4 minutes in Flash.

You should convert all those super taxing vector assets to bitmaps.

With the background elements, just right-click and choose Convert To Bitmap.

The 'video' footage also; the vaseline jar also.

Even the cursor is absurdly vectorized with thousands of points.

Probably much of the other artwork (character on screen, hands) also has too many points, but when you convert to bitmaps all the rest, you may be able to get away with that.

You will have to save your file under a new name as you go, just to not corrupt it further.

And when you have gotten rid of the worst offenders, you should be able to export a PNG sequence, maybe even a SWF, but the PNGs are your best bet.

To export PNGs go to File > Export > Export Movie... and choose PNG Sequence.

    Good luck!

Tried to click on the link, but couldn't find a way to download the FLA.

Maybe you could use some more conventional sharing service, like google drive?

To trouble-shoot, you can try to identify the problematic area in your file by elimination. Save the file under a new name, then delete half of the layers and publish a SWF. If it crashes, revert and try deleting the other half. Then narrow this until you identify the layer, then the symbol and so on.

You can also try to export a PNG sequence which usually is quite error proof.
