Change default browser for Animate Test Movie

I am trying to teach my students how to create animations using Animate. We are using the HTML5 canvas, and when we go to test movie, it trys to open in Internet Explorer and says that it can't find the file. Should I change the broswer to Chrome? My laptop goes to Chrome automatically, but their class desktops go to Internet Explorer.

Any ideas? Which would be better IE or Chrome?

And if I should change it, how do I do it?

    Hey Kyra,

In order to change the default browser on Windows Operating System, please follow the below steps :-

    1- Open Control Panel.

    2- Go to Programs.

    3- Click Default Programs.

4-  Set your default programs and choose Google Chrome.

Once you select Google Chrome, you have to click on choose defaults for this program and select all the extensions you want this program to open by default and click save.

Then try to preview in web browser within Animate and it should open in Chrome.

However, we can also try solving the Internet Explorer problem by "turning off" the "spritesheet" option in publishing settings.

    Then it might work locally.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!
