Circumflex "^" symbol not showing in Flash

I am trying to change some English text to French for a client and when changing a vowel in the action script, the letter ô appears and I can see it but when published never shows up. It just is missing.  All the other French leters with special accents appear but nothing with the ^ above it ever appears (e,i,o,u) all have same problem when I add the ^ above the letter. So it appears to be something with that Circumflex symbol. I've tried the unicode input too of ALT 0244 too and still nothing.

Flash professional CS5  v 11.0.2.489 with a PC running win XP service pack 3. All updated on flash and windows are current

Thanks, Russ

Awesome, grabbed all the different French Letters and put them in and works wonderfully.

Thanks so much,  Russ
