Error in Adobe Flappy Bird Tutorial - HTML5

This tutorial has an error: Part 1: Building a HTML5 Flappy Bird Game Clone with Adobe Animate CC | Adobe Blog

Everything works fine until Part 6 at which point it glitches. I downloaded the Final copy of the tutorial off of Git and it also has the same error! I get that Adobe was overly ambitious to release Animate with CreateJS and it is beyond buggy, but to publish a tutorial and the tutorial files also don't work is really unprofessional. If anyone has a fix to this, let me know.

The Git files are at this git repository

If you publish the final file: GitHub - ccaleb/flappy-bird-animate-cc-tutorial: A tutorial showing how to create an HTML5 Flappy Bird clone using Adobe…

In the browser all that appears is a screen flash.

I had a student working through the tutorial and she got to part 6  and all that happened for her was a screen flash. So I downloaded the files. Looked at the final and compared it to her code. All was correct. Then I published the "final" from the Git site and it did the same screen flash.

Just got an email from the student. Apparently, this is an error in Animate 2018 edition. The code works when done in Animate 2017.
