Frame rate change on timeline panel?

Hello,

I'm under Flash Pro CC 2015 (15.0.1.179), but I noticed we can't change the framerate of a scene right under the timeline panel. See on the bottom, the frame rate is gray.

I have the feeling it was a time when we could do this on this spot. Is it quite a new change? Because it's not very useful not to be able to change it quickly.

I know how to change it of course, it's with the properties of the scene.

This is an intentional change. You can still change the frame rate in the Properties panel, but the one in the timeline has been disabled. A lot of people were complaining about accidentally changing the value without realizing it.

Excuse me, but this does not make sense at all. You could have simply lock FPS by default to prevent undesirable changes and enable users to unlock FPS change in a sub menu or advanced settings menu and change it. How can I will adjust FPS if I have sequence of different animations having different FPS? I actually have and stuck now ! Do I have to change all of my animations now?

An FLA can only have one frame rate, so it wouldn't matter if you set that in the timeline or in the Properties panel. The figure in the timeline has another function, in that it gives you an idea of what frame rate is being achieved.

The idea of having different frame rates that change over time is a good one, but the program has never worked that way.

Yes, this appears to be new to CC 2015. It worked correctly in CC 2014 and earlier versions. You should log this as a bug: Feature Request/Bug Report Form
