How can I draw 3D Box in AS3

Hello All,

I'm working in aproject of drawing charts using flash , I want to know how to draw a 3D box for 3D Bar Chart

if any one have a simple tutorial for it I will be happy if he/ she share it with me

You have 3 options:

a) you use papervision3d ( or any 3d engine) to create the boxes.
b) you simulate a 3dbox in flash by drawing a square and using filters to fake the 3dlook of it.

c) there are a few chart libs around that could help you getting going on. Quick Google Search will lead you to the right direction.

There is a fourth option - to draw it yourself. It does involve a bit of math and understanding of 3D concepts but with simple shapes like bars it is not all that difficult. There several very clear Flash 3D tutorials on the web.
