Hi all,

I cannot find any download link for Animate CC 2017.1 (16.1) neither on Adobe page nor in CC client. I need this specific version but on my machine I have version CC 2017.5. and I cannot downgrade it.

Any help?

you can install some older versions of animate using the cc desktop app.  (if you don't see how, leave a message.)

and you can download some adobe programs directly.  these are the ones available:

Single user licensee downloadable installation files available:

Updates

  • Download and installation help for Adobe links

  • Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages.  They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3.  If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.

And a big thank you to Jim @ Prodesigntools for helping me with these links!

Colin, I do have cs6 but it's not a handy solution for me... When you go back and forth between versions of animate you can loose animations. I would prefer to have Animate 2017.2 by far. How is it possible not having a simple executable of this version?

Yes but is there any way we can have access to specific installs... Like I said on my other postthe version 17.2 is the latest one supported for 1024-rsa cert: Packaging Android app fails -- Java 8

The more recent versions of Animate use the embedded version of Java in that version of AIR, which is Java 8 (that doesn't support 1024 bit certificates). I had to go back to Flash Pro CS6 to be able to build updates to old Android apps. You can install CS6 from the CC menu, and you would want to immediately do an update to get 12.0.2.

The ADT command line solutions are a bit more complicated that using File/Publish.

Hopefully we can get the link soon ! It's important for those who got old apps with 1024-RSA cert.

Thank you

Sorry guys but I didn't find a link for bersions 2017.1 and 2017.2

I need to use them cause it's the last versions that support 1024-RSA certificates. I need them to update my old apps.

Sorry but you can't install that specific versions (17.1 or 17.2) on CC desktop app. The only one available is 17.5

We are working towards making direct download links available for major versions of products very soon. I will create a forum post as soon as I have an update.

Thanks,

Preran

Hi Preran

Can I ask you whether this direct download links issue has progressed? I am posting with somebody who is in need of a download link specifically for Animate 2017.1 or 2.

Thank you for calling me out. I will check with my colleagues about whether this is now available. Give me a day's time.

Did you notice that Animate isn't in your list of download pages?

I can't find the message at the moment, but someone else needed to reinstall 16.1 in particular, and only 16.5.1 is available on the CC Apps Other Versions menu. Preran was looking into the issue.
