I'm using Adobe Animate to make an animation (AS3).

I want to load a file from my web server using AS3.

This works fine in preview but it throws a Security Sandbox Violation when i try and render the film (same when i use debug).

Is it possible to load a file from a web server in adobe animate?

you should probably mention that you're exporting a video, not publishing an as3 project.

Yes, so if i load a local .xml file there are no security issues on the debug and the video renders fine. If i load a server side .xml the debug stops on frame one with the security error, and so does the render, it just renders frame one.

My thinking is, if i can get it connecting to my server without a security error it will surely render the video as it won't stop on frame one.

I wondered if the video render would throw people off.

Thanks for your continued help 🙂
