hello there

i made some vectors

in order to make buttons later

in animate....

but when i imported the vectors

they did not get into the states

of the button...it gets only inside the other

areas of the vector image....it was grouped and

expanded in illustrator then imported to animate

i want to make an animated button..with a design

more insteresting due to the fact that this is for

children...music class for children

png works for states, graphics made inside

animade works for states but it does not have

cool options like a vector in illustrator

anybody help me ?

    i am using the action script you gave me.......play pause action

    yourpausebutton.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK,pauseF);

    yourplaybutton.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK,playF)

    function pauseF(e:MouseEvent):void{

    this.stop();

    }

    function playF(e:MouseEvent):void{

    this.play();

    }

    but so far i did for only one song

    now i need the action for two songs....

    i named instances for the firs play and pause buttons

    with the action script

    i am trying to use the same script two times

    with instances for the second play and pause buttons

    it does not work

    it says its repeating

    how do i proceed

    thanks

    create an up-state graphic symbol

    import your ai files to the stage of that symbol

    drag that symbol to your buttons up-state

    likewise for your other button states.
