Macromedia Flash 8.8.0 Don't open on Windows 10

Question

Recently I started using Macromedia Flash 8, I started making sprite animations and so on, however, today (23/07/2018) I was going to "Trace Bitmap" a huge image, and the app stopped responding, then I closed it, when I was going to open it again, it didn't open, I already tried deleting it and installing again, but it won't work, no matter what I do the app simply don't open, can someone help me please?

Yeah, I have to agree. I'm surprised it runs on Windows 10.

Given that it was working then stopped, "when in doubt, reboot" applies. If you've rebooted and the problem persists, it's most likely that one or more of the application files is corrupted. You could check the disk for errors (performing a backup before any disk maintenance is always a good idea), but you'll probably end up needing to reinstall it.

I'm a little confused as to which product you are referring to. If you're referring to Flash 8 (the authoring tool), I'm surprised it installed on Windows 10, considering how old it is.

If you're referring to Flash Player, then as OP said, it's over a decade old and not recommended at all. However, I suspect you're referring to the Authoring tool. For help with the Authoring tool, please post to Adobe Animate CC (formerly Flash CS) forum.

I can move the discussion to that forum after you confirm which product you're referring to.
