Mouseover hover area is way off

Dear all,

This is my first time posting.

i have problem with adobe Animate CC (as title).

I have create a movie clip with mouseover script & custom cursor.

The hover area is way off the mc.

I have upload it & please take a look at it here.

The registration point of the arrow is in the middle. For using it as a cursor you should move the arrow inside its movieclip, so that the point of the arrow is on the registration point.

the hover area is a bit off.

i want when cursor touch the box it immediately active the ActionScript,

but as u can look not all area of the box will active the ActionScript when cursor touch.

u can try the orange box, if hover from top, the ActionScript active before it touch the box

and from below, the ActionScript not active when touch the box.

Hope you understand my English is messy.

hi thanks for the help, I have double-click the cursor >advanced setting, and select the anchor point, but no luck.

or you can show me how to do it.

Double-click on 'cursor' in the library. Click on the bitmap cursor-red-01.png to select it. In the Properties panel change the x and y values to be 0. That would put the point of the arrow at the registration point.
