NEED HELP: How do you color line art without affecting the outside of it?

Hi! I'm a beginner in using Animate. I'm not sure how to word this out, but is there a way to color only affecting the line art? If Photoshop has Alpha Lock/Lock Transparent Pixels, does Animate also have that feature?

Below is an example. Art is done by me on Photoshop.

    Hi.

If the line art is actually made of fills, you can select the lines and then change the brush mode in the bottom part of the Tools panel to Paint Selection.

Please let us know if this is what you're looking for.

    Regards,

there's no lock transparent pixels in animate, but you can draw/color in photoshop and import into animate.  or even better use illustrator.
