I have an animation of 25 fps - jpg. When I view this animation in the program (ctrl+Enter) everything is fine. When I export the animation to an EXE file the frames from about 180-250 flicker as if there are empty frames between them. My composition is set to 25 fps, if I change it to 19 everything is fine, but if I set the number of frames 20 and above the screen flickers always at the end of the animation. This is terribly frustrating.

Maybe this is a memory issue.
What if you export to AIR for desktop instead?
Or can you share your FLA?

thx - this solution very strange - seriously it is not possible to do something about it without these complications?

Exporting a simple animation for AIR is not so complicated as it seems.
But if you don't want to go through this process, can you share a link to your FLA so that we can check if this works on your side?

that animates smoother for me as a gif than in the adobe ide, but yes, you'll need 32 gb ram or better to play.
ie, you have no missing frames (unless you had trouble creating the gif because you have too little ram). it's just jumping over frames because it's not playing smoothly for you.
p.s. and 250 fps = 250 frames per second. you mean you have 250 frames = 250 jpgs.

Thanks for the file.
The problem happens to me as well.
I suppose that all that you want is to export the animation to be viewed, without interactions. So why don't you export it to a video file (e.g.: MP4)?

I did a trial with MP4 but it loops badly. When I put a sequence of JPG files the playback is smooth

The MP4 plays very smoothly here using Windows Media Player in a i7, 16 GB RAM, Windows 11 PC laptop.

Exported MP4 by going to File > Export > Export Video/Media... and then converted to MP4 in Adobe Media Encoder using H.264 / Match Source - High bitrate templates.

looping with an mp4 is problematic. but that aside, can you create a smooth playing gif without glitch using the settings i suggested?
