So it finally happend. One of the best features of Animate was that it was always possible to open and og FLA files and use your old work. And now for the first time I've got this error message on old files. It's catastrofy actually. Does it happens only to me or somebody experiensed this new bummer also?

Hi @Samoleg @n. tilcheff @Nick Gioia @Paul Darky - Just want to let you know that we have addressed this issue in Animate May 2022 update 22.0.6 released today. Please update your copy of Animate to the latest using Creative Cloud desktop application. Thanks!

I updated to last version. Files open but it takes a LOT of time. And the Publish Settings panel takes longer THAN EVER on trying to import a profile or opening the AIR for iOS Settings panel. It is a nightmare. In more than 16 years using Flash/Animate it never was so slow.

It happens in Animate 22 on Mac, but not on Windows.

I have reported it as a bug last week and got the reply that it is a (security) feature.

I asked: "Really? Not opening older FLA files is now considered a feature?"

The second reply did not indicate desire to admit it was a bug, so for now it is unclear whether they will remove this or leave it.

If you install Animate 21, you will be able to open your old files.

Personally, I think that this is absurd, but I have seen so many absurd things in recent years that nothing surprises me any more.
