Remove background of imported gif

I imported a GIF of a character walking into AdobeAnimate with the hope of removing the background. This is what I've gotten so far by breaking apart and using the magic wand and eraser. Is there any way I could get this looking a bit cleaner? I need to export this and import it into Storyline 360, but the storyline will not have a white background, so I do not want it to look off.
