Question

scene widget gone missing

Hi everyone,

I've just started learning all about Adobe Animate and I'm trying to use the bone tool, but can't seem to drag it onto my scene.

I've noticed, in all the tutorials, everyone has this scene widget (the 'movie action/cut clapping board' you know) in the toolbar and I don't.

Does this have anything to do with it? I've selected ActionScript 3.0, so that's not the problem.

Help 🙂

those are the center stage and rotate stage icons.  if you don't see those (and you want to) click view>screen mode>standard.

click the three dots in your tools panel to see the bone tool (and add it to your tools panel, if that's what you want).

thanks for your reply!

my problem actually is that I'm not getting the scene widget in this toolbar.

the one like you can see in the screenshot from a YouTube tutorial.

any ideas on how I can get that?

(I've selected ActionScript 3.0 and not HTML5 Canvas, as is recomended

and 'scene' is selected in the view-menu, so really can't figure out what's wrong)

did you select standard as your screen mode?

if yes and you still don't see it, try changing your workspace (window>workspace) and if that fails, why do you care?

embed a screenshot showing the "scene widget".
