Sensitivity not working with HP Spectre x360

New Here ,
Feb 12, 2018 Feb 12, 2018

It isn't coming up with a pen sensitivity option when selecting the brush option...

Here's a screenshot of what I can do, the seemingly smoother lines are from the brush with a smoothing settingdoes not work.PNG

It isn't the pen/laptop/tablet because it works with sai, toonboom and sketchbook

Does Adobe Animate CC just not work with it?

Hi,

Animate still requires wintab driver to detect pressure sensitivity. Please install the latest version of wintab driver software from http://download.microsoft.com/download/2/0/7/2073C22F-2F31-4F4A-8059-E54C91C564A9/Wintab-1.0.0.18-64-bit.zip to get this working in Animate.

Thanks!

Mohan

I am not sure if Adobe Animate has been tested on HP spectre. Let me check with the team.

Also can you check if all the graphic drivers have been updated. I would suggest going to the manufacturer's site and checking if there have been any recent updates that are not reflected in your system.

Thanks,

Preran

this worked! but now i have another problem... ill post it here since i dont wanna spam the forums.

the drawn lines dont register if i do them quickly... like they jolt into place

paint tool sai + photoshop smoothly do my lines no matter how quickly i draw them, but animate lags them and jolt into place and then doesn't apply pressure sensitivity too

i could get videos if you need more explanation

I tried downloading the wintab drivers, but when I booted up animate and sai, the pressure sensitivity still hadn't worked. It just made the start and the end of the line thinner, but it didn't allow me to create thinner lines when I pressed softly. Nor did it allow me to make thicker lines when I pressed harder.

Perhaps I downloaded the wintab drivers incorrectly, but it didn't work.

Hi! I'm asking for your help because I've scoured the rest of the internet and can't seem to find an answer. I recently bought the HP Spectre but my pen pressure won't work on SAI or Photoshop. How did you get yours to work?? Thanks!
