hello all,

I am working on a short animation and I have the problem, that when I use the camera and I want to test the scene, the output is very very slow - but when i switch the camera 'off' the output is okay (24 fps).

only when I export to video the output is okay with the camera 'on' ...

I'm working on a imac (iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019) with animate 2020 and 2019 and

this happens with BOTH versions of animate (even with the latest update) - and with the hardware accelerator on (in the publish settings). can anyone help?

thank you!

leopold

Hi mate,

Obviously your hardware struggles to render the vectors in that SWF.

If you have a very complex vector background, use a place-holder bitmap while working. Just guide the vector layers.

This will most likely play fine and publish fast.

In SWF player you can also try to lower the quality to medium or shrink the preview window.
