is it something about performance or another thing? i know graphics are the only one that i can preview but why movie clips doesnt? its so boring when i want to give something effect but i just can preview testing the animation, where i cant even control a time bar
MCs are dynamic - they are meant to be controlled via ActionScript. Their timelines are independent of all other timelines. They are not in sync with parent timelines which is why they don't preview in the AnCC authoring environment. If you are using MCs just for effects, you may consider converting them to Graphic symbols behavior and apply your effects as layer effects (relatively new feature).
Classic motion guides can be used with Graphic and Movie Clip symbols - so the ability to previe your animations has always been and still is currently possible.

If by preview you mean that you pressed Enter or Return, that acts like you were scrubbing along the timeline, it doesn't publish and run the final animation.
You could set your movieclip to be a graphic temporarily, to see how it will eventually play back.

on preview i actually meant the workspace, without testing pressing enter but thx, still dont know why they just dont play the movie clip with the effect on the workspace, it would be way easier

Thanks for the explanation and suggestion, but I'd like to be able to preview animation that follows classic motion guide, and as I understand it's not possible by moving along the timeline.

There is some morbid pleasure and mild amusement in reading chatGPT generated crap.

the message you saw was spam:
if you carefully look at the ellipses at the end of the text, you can see it's a link.

I was wondering what the point of it all was since I did not notice the link.

the ones without a link are an attempt to establish a reputation before the links start to appear. that fools no one.
