Audition Crashing upon Launch

I have uninstalled the latest version and reinstalled it. I have uninstalled it and installed an older version - tried 3 versions, and no matter what I do, it crashes upon open.

 

Funny how you add a crash file to my desktop when it happens but I cant attach it - as its not an allowed file type. But you created it, so how is it not.. 

 

anyways, I NEED this to work as I use this for my job.

Couple of things: the way you attach crash logs is simple - you open the log in Notepad, copy all the text and post it directly into a post on the thread. No need to try to attach anything which, as you've noted, you can't anyway.

 

The second thing is that if several versions are crashing, then clearly there's something happening in your PC that shouldn't be. As far as Adobe software is concerned, the first thing you should do is to use the CC cleaner app - you will find that here. 

 

So the thing is to do both of those things - we might be able to tell you what's happening from the crash log and the chances are that you'll need to clean out the old installations anyway.
