5.1 Audio Interface

Hi,

I am planning to start a 5.1 edit on Adobe Audition.Can anyone suggest good 5.1 audio interface for seperate track output.I know that the cost of audio interface is high.But i am requesting for any low cost audio interface for mixing.

The Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 and the MOTU ultralite mk5 seem to be the most popular _lower_ cost interfaces.

Thank You. Is Behringer UMC404HD U-Phoria MIDI Interface is good ?  Can you cross check the outputs which is suitable or not?

Not sure. Looks like it only has 4 outputs.

There are plugins to simulate 5.1 with headphones. I can't say how well they work.

 Waves Nx is one.
