All tracks greyed out in multi-track session

I've been working in a multi-track session. I used the de-clipper to work on one of the tracks and after I used it all tracks became "greyed" out. It seems like I can still do the work on them but not sure what this means or if it limits me later on. Attaching a screenshot.

It looks to me as though you have a time selection made along the entire timeline - just a single click anywhere on it should clear this; it certainly does here if I reproduce the effect.  If it doesn't, then I'd be initially a bit suspicious about the session file, I think..
