Audition & Izotope RX8 VST plugins scaling issue (High DPI resolution screen 4K)

Hi,
I use adobe audition, and I was considering purchase of Izotope RX8 plugins to repair some of the audio tracks I'm editing.

I downloaded the RX8 trial, and added the plugins properly, and they work, but they are terribly small.

I tried scalling methods on Win10 with going into Adobe audition shortcut < Properities < Override High Resoulution DPI scalling with System etc.  as well with RX8 program, but it was only changing the scale of UI of programs and cursor. The plugin size was still small.

I was looking for some sort of scalling of plugins/ hovering windows settings in audition but haven't found anything.

If anyone has an idea how to solve this problem I would appriciate.

I attach the screenshot showing the issue.

How much larger do they show up if you run the same tool in native RX?

I'll answer that question (almost a year later).

I can see what you mean. There's no method of being able to scale the window size of any plugin within Audition - in just the same way that there's no way to alter font sizes, etc. To be honest, I'm not sure whether the scaling is an issue within Audition, or the plugins themselves. I can raise an enquiry with iZotope to see if they can throw any more light on this.

I will add one caveat. The images were captured off my 4k display which is scaled at 200%. If I disconnect the monitor and only use my 1080 laptop screen, restart Audition, and then use the plugins, they show up correctly. I just don't get why Audition won't scale them, but the native RX will on the same display

That does make it sound more like an Audition problem (sorry, 'insurmountable opportunity')- but as I hinted, it's never really been able to scale anything...

I know this thread is several years old, but I had a similar issue with RX VST plugins being "cut off" with my high-resolution display and Adobe Audition.

I discovered you can help this issue by changing the "Compatibility" settings for Adobe Audition [in Windows 11] by right-clicking on the icon for it in your start menu, then "More" then "Open File Location" and then right-click again on the shortcut for Adobe Audition and select "Properties" and then select the "Compatibility" tab and click on the "Change high DPI settings" button at the bottom of the window and check off the box for "High DPI scaling override" and change the dropdown to "System" and then click "OK" on both windows.   Then open Adobe Audition and check your RX VST -- This solution fixed it for me!
