Just recently Audition will crash, freeze or bug out. Not sure how to fix this. Can someone help? Using Audition 2020 on a PC laptop.

There have been a few reports that are very similar to this, and no clear indication of exactly what's causing it - it doesn't affect everybody, but the people it's happening to generally aren't too pleased...
There are two things worth mentioning: the first is that if this is a genuine crash, Audition will generate a crash report that will say exactly what failed. For more information about this look here: Audition crashed - now what? If you are desperate, then post the log onto this thread (copy and paste) - if there's anything obvious it will show up there. The second thing is that at least one person that this has happened to fixed it at a stroke by deleting all of Audition's preferences (see information in crash thread) and letting it restart with a vanilla selection. The quick way to do this is to restart Audition with the Shift key held down. Be aware though that this will also destroy any custom settings you've made.
If we are lucky, whatever setting it is that's causing this will become a little clearer. That would be good, because then there would only be one thing that anybody would need to delete.

Solved on my end!! It was my MIDI keyboard.
I submitted to Adobe support and they had me do this:
"The next time this happens and Audition is in the frozen state, please press CTRL+ALT+DELETE and select “Task Manager”. Then locate the “Adobe Audition.exe” process, right-click on it, and select “Create dump”. This will save the memory state of the application to a file that can be loaded in a debugger."
I put the file in Google Drive (you can use DropBox or whatever). And he wrote back said the file revealed the problem was likely the Korg keyboard. So I unconnected it and BONGO! No more freezes. I never use the keyboard in Audition anyway.
Woohoo!
I'll post this onto my other thread so in case this is the same problem someone else is having, it might help.

Most reports of this do not appear to involve a MIDI keyboard...

But possibly some other device connected via USB maybe?
