I am on a windows 11 computer using Adobe Audition 24.0.3. I was nearing the end of making cuts on a 4 track multitrack project when Adobe gave me a crash report. I without thinking clicked through the report and it closed audition. Upon reopening the project none of my cuts had been saved despite saving the project thousands of times using ctrl s basically resetting the project to completely unworked. I tried opening backups that were labeled as being made minutes before the crash happened and it gave me the same project without any of the work I had done. I am not sure if these are the correct logs but it does list an error. Is there anything I can do to recover this work?

So this is a remote drive? You should never, ever, ever, work on remote drives - because this will happen:

Ticks = 1828 <19400> <MF.WinDirectoryChangeMonitor> <4> System call RegisterDeviceNotification() failed -- drive could not be monitored, driveLetter: "G", lastError: "Error 1066: The service has returned a service-specific error code.\r\n"

It's all to do with timing issues, almost invariably caused by internet connectivity (or a lack of it). Virtually all audio software requires files with direct access on the machine.
