My multi-track session has crashed at least twice every time i'm working over and hour on it.
Is anyone else having this problem?
Any fixes? Thoughts?

Only the one thought - read this: Audition crashed - now what?
Because it's a Mac and we don't know much about those, make sure you send all the log files to audbugs@adobe.com

SteveG The Famous Audition Life Guard! Thank you sir!
Yes, I saw it and read it. Have been sending automatic reports always but will do this next time.
BTW, another recent crash had a "quit" dialog box come up out of no where and it would not let me cancel the quit, no matter how much I hit the cancel button... I hit "save all" and then had to relog onto Adobe creative cloud an then re-open Audition multitrack session.
Wish me luck.
Thanks again!

Yes, the 'quit' thing is rather annoying - you really don't have a choice about it at all. It's like saying that you have to shoot yourself in the head, and the only choice is that you choose when to pull the trigger...
There is one thing that can cause repeated problems with sessions, and that is working on material that isn't local to your machine. Direct working on remote files is invariably dodgy, because of that piece of wet string that joins them to you - it simply cannot handle the timing constraints of a file save. It's fine transferring already-saved files over it because the handshaking is completely different and to get reliable results, that's what you have to do - save locally and then transfer them. Same goes for reading them - do it locally.

Hey SteveG,
Oooh... this could be it.
I have all my material and session files on an external drive.
Do you have a link I can follow that discusses this and leads me through on how to fix this?
Thank you sir!

Hey SteveG,
Correction my sessions and files are all locally saved. Damn! So, it's not that.
I'll keep sending reports.
Wish me luck.
