Audition Freezing Every Minute Or Two - Log

As requesteed, here is a new thread to hopefully address the freezing issue I'm having that just started in the last month or so. I did my best to follow the directions in the "What to do if Audition keeps crashing" thread. Here is some info I sent to Adobe at 'audbugs@adobe.com':

  1. I was not doing anything different from what I normally do.
  2. It doesn’t happen after any specific command. It is totally random.
  3. After it freezes, clicking anywhere in the Audition screen just makes the screen go white and I get the error Adobe Audition (Not Responding). See attached pic.
  4. When I click on the X in the top right corner I get the window saying “Adobe Audition 2020 is not responding. If you close the program you might lose information. Then the choices “close the program” or “Wait for the program to respond.”
  5. For system information (which has not changed since the last time I successfully used Audition), I attached a picture (could not find a way to export a file of it in Windows 10). But here is a summary:
  • Windows 10 Home, Processor: Intel Core i7-8700 CPU 3.2 GHz 3.19 GHz, 12 GB RAM, 64-bit OS
  1. My audio device is ASIO, Focusrite USB ASIO, I/O buffer size 128, Sample Rate: 44100. My interface is a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (3rd Gen).
  2. I’ve tried restarting my computer.
  3. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling Audition.
  4. Also attached is one of the logs from Help/Reveal Log Files, if that would be of any help.

Then I noticed Outlook blocked access to the log file because it is a .tmp file. Sheesh. But speaking of log files, when I go to Help>Reveal Log Files, it takes me to .tmp files under LogTransport2CC/Logs under AppData/Roaming/Adobe. And it really is just martian - incomprehensible. One of them has a filename of: "ulog_CC_AUDITION_9C65348743E812AE992016B8@AdobeID_04a37d85-cdc7-4b17-906e-569690afdb13_0.tmp"

I'm pretty sure that isn't going to yield any information. thoughts?

[UPDATE] I got this solved! It was my Korg Keyboard. Adobe support found it after telling me to do the following: "The next time this happens and Audition is in the frozen state, please press CTRL+ALT+DELETE and select “Task Manager”. Then locate the “Adobe Audition.exe” process, right-click on it, and select “Create dump”.  This will save the memory state of the application to a file that can be loaded in a debugger."

I uploaded that to Google Drive for them to look at and he said it pointed to a Korg keybaord. I unconnected mine (which I only ever use in Reaper anyway) and BINGO! Problem solved. Whew! Finally!
