Audition noise reduction crashes

It started when I tried to start noise reduction on a 5 minute wav.

now when I goto effect>noise reduction it crashes every time.

I have tried clearing the media cache. Is there anything else I can clear to get it to work?

PLUS - if you start messing with the user settings folder, keep a backup of ALL of that folder IF you have custom settings you don't want to lose.  For example, the rollback to an earlier version will wipe all your current settings away like they never existed.
