Hi,
I don't know what I am doing wrong with Audition but I cannot save my mixed session as a file of anything other than .sesx
Then when I try emailing that to a friend, he can't open the file in Audition there's no sound whatsoever. I can still open my .sesx session on my Audition but can't use it to send to anyone else.
Also how do I take finished files from a session and upload into an RSS feed?

A .sesx file is no more than a means of storing the information about what is happening in your session. If you want to send the entire session to somebody else, then you have to send all of the files you used in it as well. May I suggest that you do some basic reading around how Audition works? You don't seem to be too clear about this.
I believe that it may be possible to set up an RSS field to point to audio data in a separate container, but this is completely beyond our remit, I'm afraid - you need specialist RSS help to do that.

If you have all of your sound clips assembled and sounding okay in Multitrack, then you can use Multitrack>Mix down selection to a new file and your mixed file will appear in Waveform view. You can now use Save As (and make the appropriate selection) to save this as an MP3. Alternatively you can use File>Export>Multitrack Mixdown with settings like these:

It's true that .sesx files do not contain any audio data. They only point to the locations on your drive where audio files are stored.
I always like to use this menu combo Multitrack > Mixdown Session to File > Entire Session but anything mentioned here will work.
As for uploading audio files to an RSS feed most podcast hosts will allow you to do this. You can also do it yourself using WordPress and any popular podcasting plugin. Let me know if this is what you mean and if you'd like any more help with this.

Hi Mike,
thank you for replying to this thread. Just subscribed to your channel. And I'm using buzzsprout to create the RSS feed. So hopefully no snags with the MP3 upload there.
How do you do it directly on Wordpress? Any special plug-in?
Thanks in advance,
Tania
