Batch processing to another format and old format type is still there

Hi,

When I batch procees spots from Wav to Mp3 or WAV to Mp2, the file name extension continues with the new file format. So I'll batch to a WAV format and the file will also end with WAV, or into MP3 or into Mp2. It will look like this:

ABCDEFG-MVCR-3-15wav.wav

How do I remove that double end naming of the file? I'm using Adobe Audition 2023 and I have the new update. The only step I have been able to remove the double name is to Bulk Rename it and remove the extra end name.

I just tried this - it doesn't do that if you make sure that in the Export settings, there is no Pre- or Post fix. So if it's set like this:

then the exported file will have just the file name with .mp3 at the end.
