Hi all,
so when doing Batch corrections in Adobe Audition it happens quite often, that the new generated file has parts from a different position in the song or even errors at the end of the track added. This issue is not soved ever since Creative Cloud happened to be a thing.

By default, all Audition temp files are located in a directory that the OS created, and has a significant degree of control over. What we recommend for temp files is that ideally they should be on a drive of their own (a usb one is fine), and that an SSD is best. It's easy to alter the location from Edit>Preferences>Media and Disk Cache. The other thing you should probably do (if it isn't set to this already) is go to the Data section and set the Maximum number of concurrent file processes to 2

Nowhere near enough to go on here - certainly not enough to call it a bug. You haven't even said whether this is on a Mac or a PC, nor how your temp file is configured (which is much more likely to be a cause of this...)

Sorry for the little information, didn't get it how the bug report actually works with adobe, I am more used to form-based reporting.
I am on Mac (different versions, all the same on the issue) and the configuration is just plain as Audition comes after a fresh instal. And the issue is on different Macs as well, so I think I am fine calling it a bug, but if you know which settings to press to avoid the problem, please feal free to let me know, I will be more than grateful.
If I can provide any deeper information please let me know how I get them gathered as well.

This can often make things progress faster and more accurately than a higher setting.
However you look at it, you have to try all this first before we could even consider calling it a 'bug' and escalating it. I should emphasise though that these are forum suggestions, not 'official' Adobe ones- although they've never argued with them. FWIW we have suggestions for making Noise Reduction work rather better than any instructions they issue as well - and they haven't argued with those either... mainly because they work!

thank you so far, I will do these recommended changes and give it some time of testing if its good in the long run.

So far it seams that the one by a time adjustment did the job. But I think if the default option (and yes after the update it was set back again to that value although I did import the settings) does lead to defect audio it should be called a bug. Now I know and have another setting to check everytime we update, but I think this option should either be removed, fixed or set per default to 1 (just my humble opinion).

Something I'll admit I haven't tested, so this is guesswork... Audition allows for a secondary temp file location, and I've never found it used for anything. But it occurs to me that if you have two concurrent processes happening, and only one temp file location available, things could possibly get a little sticky just because of that. So it might be worth creating a secondary temp file location (setting for that is under the first one) and seeing if this processes two files concurrently any better.
Just a thought...

Thanks! This seemed to work for me.
