How can I add just the opening of an effect window to Favorites? For example, I just want to open the Noise Reduction effect with one click. Then I will do the actions of capturing the noise print and picking the level on NR, etc. from there.
So far, I've only seen how to "record" a favorite, which seems only to apply a very specific action of applying an effect without letting me choose settings, etc.
If I've misread this, please set me straight. Thanks!
Why not just use a Keyboard Shortcut. The default for Noise Reduction panel is Ctrl+Shift+P, although you could change it to something simpler if you use it a lot.

Yes, that works better :-). Thanks!
I was hoping to do the same thing with Graphic EQ - but I don't see a keyboard shortcut for it. Can you remind me again how to set a keyboard shortcut for an effect?

Edit/Keyboard Shortcuts. Graphic Equaliser are in there too. Although with the Graphic EQ effects you probably can save a Favorite.

Thanks. I see the Keyboard Shortcuts window. But I still can't figure out how to add a shortcut to "Graphic Equalizer (30 bands)." Can you point me in the right direction? I mean, I have found the command. And I see the "modifiers" window right next to it all under the keyboard layout for (Custom). But I can't figure out what to do from here.

Aha. I think I got it. I just had to click in the blank area under the Shortcut column and execute a keyboard combo. Thanks!
