I'm using the latest version of Windows 11 Pro and the latest version 25.2 of Adobe Audition. When I try to export my audio file to burn a CD, I get an error message about audition.exe needing to close. It happens with both of my Blu-ray drives. This is a brand new problem. Any ideas? Did the latest update ruin CD burning?

I think you are correct!
I'm also running Win 11 Pro 24H2 and Audition (latest release).
I've just tried to burn a CD using both the latest release of Audition and the latest Beta (the CD was one I had previously burned successfully); both attempts failed. The release version created an Error Report, which I sent to Adobe; the Beta simply "disappeared!
Can I suggest you follow the advice in this post and send a bug report to Adobe? I will do the same.
P.S. It appears the problem has also caused Audition to fail to actually close properly, at least I cannot now re-open it!

No more comments? I pay a high monthly fee to use Adobe products and Adobe just removes a feature from Audition that I use almost every day? Why not just leave the feature in place and stop doing upgrades on that particular feature?

I don't think you've posted to the bug report about this, at https://community.adobe.com/t5/audition-bugs/cd-burning-fails-audition-both-latest-release-and-lates...
I have to ask, why?? The more of us who raise this as a problem hopefully, the more likely it is to be resolved, I think.
EDIT: just to add; the forum we're now in is for users to help other users; as a general rule, it seems that Adobe staff don't actively participate here. Hence, the need to post to the bugs forum, where they do at least read posts and, from time to time, repsond.

Hi XrayDoc88,
This is fixed in lates beta build. The fix will be included in next Audition release.

Abhishek

Thank you very much for that information. I wish Adobe would make such information readily public when they discover something isn't working.
