Can You Import Favorites From a CPU Running CS5.5 to CC on a iMac?

Hello,

I'm assuming this isn't possible but I figured I would as the Adobe brain trust before giving up!  I work at a radio station.  We have CS5.5 and I use CC on my iMac at my home studio.  However, I have favorites which I would love to import into my iMac.  I would recreate them if I could remember the processes!    I was just wondering if anyone knew of way to accomplish this?

All Audition's settings are held as .xml files in Audition's Settings folder somewhere in a Mac's Libraries (I am a Windows user so can't tell you the direct path I'm afraid). Although there have, of course, been changes in the software between CS5.5  and CC they will mostly still work if you copy them across. In the latest CC versions you can find your way to the Settings folders by going to the Help menu and clicking on Reveal Log Files. This will take you to the Log folder within the Settings folder, so stepping up one level you should find all Audition's settings .xml files. The path will be XXX/Adobe/Audition/12.0 for the latest version and an earlier number for CS5.5.
