At some point, will M2 Mac Studio users have the capability to "burn" a CD in Audition? I do have a work around but it was sure nice to be able to just go to the CD Editor and drag over the tracks I edited and burn a CD.
I was just curious to see if this would be an option for us in the future or, if this was the end for CD burning in Audition with an M2 chip.. Thank you.....

I don't recall anybody saying anything about M2 macs, but with the MI, one user said you could get Audition to burn CDs if you quit Audition, went to the Applications folder, selected the Audition application file, pressed Command + I, and put a check in the box by "Open using Rosetta". After restarting Audition the CD burning function worked normally.
I don't have a Mac so I can't tell whether this still applies - or is this your workaround?

I spoke with an Adobe Customer Service person today, and yes, that was the work around when you could open Audition using Rosetta but he said that is no longer an option. I tried that the other night but when I did the command+ I, it no longer shows that option and shows Audition as "universal". I believe they have made strides with Audition to show it as "native" to Macs. Hopefully, Audition will make CD burning a feature for M2's in the future. My work around is to export the file to Apple Music and make a playlist and burn the playlist. Thanks for the reply, Steve.

Wow, SUPER frustrating. Just came across this tonight as I tried to burn a mix to CD that I worked up in Audition. I went back and downloaded Audition 2023 and opened the .cdlx file from there, and that version still let me burn to CD on my Mac Studio with external SuperDrive. (Some of us are still rocking this vintage technology! Don't forget us, Adobe!)

I'm sorry you ran into this situation, also. I'm running the latest version of Audition, 24.0.3.3 and went back to look for earlier versions but couldn't find any....BTW, I'm also running Sonoma, got this new Mac a month ago and I knew I would be in it for the long haul on app updates...I may have to fire my old Mac Pro up and re-install Audition 1.5 on it. Hope it doesn't come to that....Glad you were able to get an earlier version of Audition.
