Changing the BPM on Drum Loops made by another company

Greetings...I am trying to figure out how to change the BPM to drum loops that I have bought from another company other than Adobe.  I am using the current version.  In the older version of Audition, it was very easy.  You use to be able to go to the bottom of the right hand screen, where it would display BPM and simply just change it my desired number.  Adobe thought it was too simple so they did away with that!  Now it says go Properties on the left hand side and display the BPM.  I changed the number on it and it still will not change the drum track.  It will allow me to change the metrodome, but the drum file will not to change its BPM.  The second, is to STRETCH the actual file.  IT WILL not do that method either.  Will someone please help me?  I am willing to pay to a reputable person.  Thanks.

Sorry one other question.  Adobe made this simple before too, but now its a pain.  I could easily repeat the same drum loop over and over very simply by putting in the number of times I want that loop copied, repeated perfectly in time.  The ways I was shown to do that, by stretching again, did not work!  Thanks

Audition doesn't detect BPM. You can set the time display to BPM, but it doesn't affect the track's content.

If you know the BPM of your loop, you can set the display to match, and set snapping on to help your editing.

You can read about working with loops here.

Time stretching is covered here.
