Does stretching using "stretch and pitch" affect pitch?

Does stretching using "stretch and pitch" affect pitch? I want to stretch the clip without affecting pitch.

If you tell it to keep the pitch the same, and just stretch the sample,  it should do just that. IOW, get the check out of the 'Lock Stretch and Pitch' box.
