Exporting Multitrack Error - Doesn't change file extension

Has anyone else noted that in Audition 2020 you are unable to Export a Multitrack Session with MP3 sidecar filename extensions instead of WAVs? It looks like the program converts the files to mp3, but isn't renaming the extension from WAV to MP3.

Just tested it here with a Windows machine, and it works fine. You can only show the extensions for known types if you turn that option on in explorer, but it certainly shows an MP3 export from Multitrack as an .MP3 if you do...

Hey Steve, Thanks for the reply. We use Mac's over here and I've tried it on 4 machines all running latest versions and the issue seems to happen like clockwork. You don't happen to have a mac you could try it on? I tried it on our Windows machine and it seemed to work as well so it may be OS specific.

No, I don't have a Mac. I've had a very bad relationship with them for a very long time... But yes, it could be, and almost certainly is, platform specific.
