What sample rate and bit depth are you saving to .mp3 at what bit rate? If you reduce the bit depth to only 8 bits then you will always have some noise due to the low number of bits. What type of audio are you saving in the .mp3s?

Hi radiorobcharles,
Thanks for reaching out. It seems like there is some issue with the export settings or the effects applied to the track.
In addition to the questions asked by @ryclark, I would like to know a couple of things.
Thanks,
Shivangi

Hi! I'm having this issue, too, so I thought I'd answer you're questions:
- Sample rate: Same as Source (48000 Hz Stereo)
- Bit depth: 32-bit
- Version: 13.0.9.41
- Playback: VLC, iTunes (Desktop PC) + iPhone Documents music player (used 4 different head phones)
- Effects: NONE
Noteworthy:
- Playback on the iPhone (of the mp3 file) sounds the best, but isn't perfect. The hiss isn't really there, but the mix isn't accurate (vocals are too loud).
- I've tried exporting as FLAC and there are still major issues (hiss, warble, distortion).
- I've tried exporting as AIF and - while it's better - there is still a white noise hiss.
- I've performed a mixdown of the entire session. Playback within the app has zero issues, but the moment I attempt to save or export the file, the issues return.
- I attempted removing the vocal track and only exporting the two music tracks. Same exact issue occurs.
Is there any way I can send the file(s) over to someone in tech support or share/remote desktop to see what the issue could possibly be?
I need to get this mastered/finished by 7pm on September 3rd, if possible.
Thanks!

Hi, Steve. Thanks for trying to help. Could you be a little more specific? I posted the sample rate and bit depth in my response above. Was there something else?
Thanks so much!

Did you use CBR or VBR (Constant or Variable)? And what was the MP3 bitrate - how many Kbps?

CBR/Constant. 320kbps.

What's the peak level of your files before you export them?
