Frequency Analysis- average frequency of a voice recording

New Here ,
Feb 10, 2021 Feb 10, 2021

I have several short vocal (spoken voice) recordings and I want to work out what the average frequency is for each. The recordings are open in the main screen and I have the Frequency Analysis window open and scale is 'Logarithmic'.

'Hold' - I clicked on some of these - how do I cancel this? Thanks for any help!

The Hold buttons toggle, just click it a second time and it will release.

By right clicking in the analysis windows scales for frequency and db, you can zoom in / out and

move around the scales.

Lastly what may help you the most is the "scan selection" option at the bottom right of the window.

Select the portion of the voice recording you wish to analyse and click 🙂
