Im having trouble trying to get to hear my friends and record them with audition. Can anyone Help?

There's a bare-bones outline here : how-to-record-desktop-audio-on-pc-i-e-spotify-discord-etc but this is from a while ago. Whilst the basic premise is correct, this was back in the days of Windows 7, which was rather more compliant in terms of what sources you could record from. I have to say that with Windows 10, the dedicated recording apps (which get around the things that the OS place in the way) tend to work better, and are far easier to set up. If you are determined to do it yourself, then you may need to use an app like Virtual Audio Cable - although that needs a lot of care to set up, and is not for the faint-hearted. Auditon's problem is that as an app, it's designed to record from 'legitimate' sources that the OS provides, or alternatively from an ASIO source (think external sound device) which bypasses most of the OS completely, so there's no chance of getting hidden feeds into that at all. That said, it may well be that if you look at the Discord setup pages, it might tell you how to configure it to provide a recordable source, in which case look at that first.
