I have a frequency sweep that has has been significantly 'pitch bent'. I want to manually scrub that sound file back and forth in the timeline - in the same way that a foley artist would watch the visuals of a movie and generate sound in time to the visuals on screen - but I want to record that output into a new file when I'm doing so. Possible?

OK - 29 views, no answer : ) So I'll assume this isn't possible directly.
However.... I'll try feeding the output of a laptop doing this into an audio interface on another machine and see if I can record it on that second machine.
