i cant open files on audition

i am tyring to upload files into audition. However eveytime i press import the files are nowhere to be seen despite being available on my one drive and my desktop.

In Multitrack if you select a track, right mouse click and select 'Insert' and browse to the location does that work?

OR

Just drag the wav file onto a track in Multitrack view
