Now What Computer Should I Get?

I'm looking to get a new Windows machine. I want Adobe Audition to love it. I want to be able to run session with loads of tracks and loads of effects and not have my machine stutter when I do. This is what I'm working with now:

  • AMD Ryzen 9 3950 16-Core proccessor
  • 32GB of DDR4 RAM
  • SSD system drive (550GB) but a mix of HDD and SDD for my sound libraries and project data, etc.
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
  • Windows 10

And here's what it looks like in Task Manager while I try to work in avery a large session which the computer can't always do smoothly without stuttering the whole time:

I'm currently looking at a PC Audio Labs RokBox MCX with:

  • i9-13900K processor
  • 32GB of DDR5 RAM
  • all SSD drives
  • 2GB Triple Display NVIDIA graphic card (unsure precisely what model it is, but probably the same NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti)
  • Windows 11

Can anyone tell me if it looks like I'm making a wise choise? It's very pricey (~$3500) and I'm not sure I can really afford. Am I ovespending? Any and all advice welcome!

Edit: I should add that the main impetus to upgrade now is that Windows 10 is sunsetting next year, and Microsoft tells me my current machine can't be upgraded to 11.

Biggest, fastest badass machine you can afford is what you need, and even then be prepared to have to spend time optimising it. I have a machine that has a very similar spec to the one you are proposing and it runs okay, but my Audition sessions aren't massive.
