Hello,
I am very bad with sounds. I am doing some videos and have 2 mics, one from the camera with terrible wind behind and the other one from a microphone but it is heavily saturated. I would like to know if there is an easyway to recover a very saturated file? With the AI now… must be something no?
Thanks a lot
I attach the file so you can listen and see the PB
Best regards

Unfortunately for you, there is absolutely no way to recover heavily distorted sound - simply because there is no reference to what it should sound like. And that's across the board; no software can do it. Our experience of using an AI-based cleanup system rather bears this out, but just to find out if it now knows more than I do (it doesn't) I sent your sample to it, and I've attached an MP3 of what came back. It's cleaned up, but just as distorted - for the reason I gave above.
There's half a chance that your windy camera mic might produce a better result if it didn't overload...

You can try this all for yourself if you sign up for the public beta of Adobe's Enhance Speech - you'll find the page here. The results tend to come back as wav files, but it's easy to convert them to MP3s if you want. But ideally, whatever you feed it, make sure that even if it's bad, it's the best bad file you've got - if you see what I mean.
