Hello all
I recceived Scarlett Solo 4 gen and xlr audio technica AT2020 mic. Everything is plugged in and seems to be working with Adobe Audition but I'm curious on something.
Prior to this new setup, I was working with an audio technica AT2020 USB mic and I was able to do my recordings under 'Waveform'.
Now it seems that I have to record under 'Multitrack'. Why is that? Also when I am in multitrack, I cannot see my 'levels' of recording dB like I can see it when I'm in Waveform.
Are there videos out there that explain how to use Scarlett Solo to Adobe Audition/
Thank you!

For a start, you might like to tell us whether you are using a PC or a Mac... and have you installed the Focusrite drivers for the Scarlett?

sorry - this was PC and drivers were installed. After re-calling Focusrite, I finally spoke with a support person that offered to connect to my laptop and view my settings within Adobe audition and he noticed under Edit -> Preferences -> Audio Channel Mapping that due to the Gen4 interface that I bought, the file channels need to be swapped so instead of File Channel 1 (L) (Mono) being set under Device Channels as Input 1 it needed to be changed to Input 2 and the (R) on number 2 needed to be changed to Input 1. It is now working fine in 'Waveform' instead of forcing me to use 'Multitrack'. Thank you!
