Select all clips to the right of playhead in multitrack

Hi All,

I'm looking for this function widely used in video editing software:

Select all clips on all tracks to the RIGHT of playhead in Multitrack.

We really need this function and the keyboard shortcut for our work but can't find it anywhere !

We work on Adobe Audition CS 6

Help is much appreciated,

Maciek

This functionality does not exist in Audition CS6, but was announced as one of the many new features coming to Adobe Audition CC (to be released soon). Stay tuned! [now out of date - see end of thread - Mod]

From the main menu select "Edit" then "Keyboard shortcuts"

Under the "Edit" command

scroll down to "Select clips to end of session"

you can then select whatever shortcut you like to "Select clips after the playhead to the end of the session"

That what you are after?

Thanks, that's already very usefull but I'm wondering this option also exists:

"Select clips to the right of the playhead on ALL tracks in Multitrack" ?

Anyone know ?

Has there been any updates on this? CC is here and now in multiple releases and I still can't find a command to do this... Really bad taste when something is repeatedly promised and never ends up happening...

Well, in the current release there's a option in Keyboard Shortcuts>Edit that says 'Select Clips to End of Section'. I tried it, and it does exactly what it says on the label - selects all the clips (on all tracks) to the end of the session. There's another shortcut that does it in the other direction too if you want...

Hey guys,

I found that the feature "Track Select Forward Tool" seems to be what you're looking for? That's what I used when looking for this. Hope this helps. It would select everything in every track RIGHT of the playhead. Can do the same thing to the left as well with "Track Select Backward Tool". You can find these in the Preferences > Keyboard Shortcuts. Happy editing

I know it's 3 years later but I just wanted say thanks! This worked. I added the shortcut to the F key and it works like a charm.

What is this feature called now? Track Select Forward is not listed in keyboard shortcuts anymore...

You should have checked the post before that one - I have no idea where he got that from, because it's never been called that as far as I'm aware. Anyway:

In Premiere Pro, the tool is called "track select forward" tool. That's probably where he got the name from.
